Now, in the second semester of our second year in Coventry, in the Design Practice module, we were briefed for a project in which our clients are the Ambleside Avengers from the Ambleside Junior Football Club. For this, we were placed in groups to complete the project. To create all the requested deliverables and to meet all of the client’s expectations and objectives.

The deliverables include a Branding Pack that involves:

  • Logo and Corporate Guidelines;
  • A Corporate PowerPoint template to be used during events;
  • Certificates, that are presented to the players at end of the season with bronze, silver, gold, and platinum award versions for goal scoring;
  • Posters and Trading cards of the players;
  • Social media video and photo templates.

The objective of all this is to celebrate the achievements and the effort of the players during this football season while creating a feeling of community in the team and to help cultivate self-esteem and self-worthfor the players. Especially after such a tough year like 2020.

This project was interesting and very stimulating since it fits in an area I’m not so familiar with, Football. It is a great way to gain more knowledge and to open my horizons a bit more.

Here are some of the assets:

This was all group work and even though we did have separate tasks (for example, what I was “assigned” to do were the cards and some of the extras which you can see in the pictures above) we all chipped in and collaborated with ideas and feedback.

So this was the outcome of what I acknowledged to be phase 1 of the project, which ended in here but thankfully our group was chosen to proceed with the design, which ended up a bit different so I consider that one phase 2 of the Ambleside Avengers project, which is in another post.

Thank you!
